The Luminary’s adventure through Erdrea has now arrived on multiple platforms in the form of Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition. The title has just launched for Xbox One (as an Xbox Play Anywhere title), Steam, Windows 10, PlayStation 4, and Epic Games Store. The original Dragon Quest game came out over 34 years ago. It was known to western gamers at the time as Dragon Warrior. This latest release marks the series debut on Xbox, allowing a new group of players to dive in. A free demo allowing up to 10 hours of gameplay from the beginning of the game is available on Steam, Xbox / Windows 10, and PlayStation 4.
The definitive edition adds new enhancements and features, such as new character side stories that let you get to know your companions better than ever. There is also the Retro 2D mode, allowing you the option to play with retro graphics inspired by classic 16-bit RPGs. 16-Bit World of Tickington allows you to visit past Dragon Quest worlds with more side quests that have been re-imagined in retro style.
