Let’s take you outside the box and introduce you to an amazing game in Serial Lover. This colorful, yet dangerous project, comes from the young hands of Sugar Slip and it’s their first game. However, unlike many first projects, this one aims to be the most promising I’ve seen yet. To clarify, there’s a demo available right now. While on the surface it looks like your average romance story with some difficult heroines, it’s so much more than that. The real catch in all of this is the wonderful character designs and addicting rhythm game. Who says you can’t have fun romancing serial killers? Back to reality, Sugar Slip needs to make $5,000 USD to make this a reality and you can get a copy for as low as $8. Needless to say, this is a steal. There’s so much to love here so try the demo and support them.

So I mentioned something about romancing serial killers, but what is Serial Lover about?
After waking in an unfamiliar house, in a dream-like reality, you find yourself among a group of strangers, all as confused as you are. One of them assures you that this is not a dream, but lacks answers themselves. Discover the truth while coming to know the strangers you’re stuck with. Whether they like it or not, they need your help to figure out what’s going on, just as much as you need theirs.
The narrative of Serial Lover has varying degrees of purpose. At times it may be comedic, intimate, even thrilling, but at other times it has moments of intently story-driven progression that address the overarching mystery. These points in the game leave the player guessing, as they try to solve a piece of the puzzle, or reveal the next.
