Celebrating the anime video game genre, BANDAI NAMCO used its Play Anime Live event on July 22 to showcase several upcoming titles for current and next generation consoles, as well as PC and mobile platforms.
First up, Scarlet Nexus producer Keita Iizuka answered fan questions about the hotly-anticipated action-RPG that features psionic warriors, mutant beasts, and a futuristic Brain Punk setting. The game is in development for Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC on STEAM.
Skilled ninja Kakashi debuted in a new trailer for Season Pass 3 content for Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker in a debut trailer for Season Pass 3 content, coming soon.
For Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions, the team showed off a trailer that featured the game’s online modes, including a deep dive into the multiplayer experience that Captain Tsubasa fans are sure to enjoy.
The company also showed off the first gameplay footage for fan favorite Mei Hatsume in My Hero One’s Justice 2. A smart, assertive, and a total gadget nerd, nothing gets past Mei when she uses her Zoom quirk to see faraway people and objects.
A new trailer showed off upcoming DLC featuring the individual brands of action for Smoothie, Cracker, and Judge in One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4.
For mobile gamers, BANDAI NAMCO showed off the newest trailer for the wildly popular One Piece Treasure Cruise, and announced that Gundam Battle Gunpla Warfare will celebrate its first anniversary with a version 2.0 of the game. The first anniversary brings with it new content, game features and free daily 10x pulls for up to 200 pulls.
