Well folks, I may have taken a break from Making It Rainfall, but I’m still writing up the Nintendo Download! Mostly cause this segment requires less brain cells and is more fun to freestyle. This week isn’t super packed with content, but it does have some very nice publisher sales I’ll gloss over, as well as lots of digital games to enjoy. Let’s start with two very different featured titles.
First up, if you’re a fan of superheroes and love to play games with friends, you might have heard of MARVEL ULTIMATE ALLIANCE 3: The Black Order. It got a new pack full of content, this time focused all about Fantastic Four. So if you like crushing foes as Thing or bending like Reed Richards, you’re in for a treat. And what Fantastic Four content would be complete without the arrogant asshole supreme, Doctor Doom? The other featured title is a crazy looking management game called Good Job! Climb the corporate ladder one puzzle at a time, and try not to break everything in the process. Though I’m not a huge fan of puzzles or management games, this one looks kind of fun. Next up, let’s continue the Nintendo Download with a bunch of worthy sales.
Firstly, NIS America has a Hidden Gems Sale for the next three days. Since there’s only a small handful of titles, I’ll list all of them – The Caligula Effect: Overdose, Culdcept Revolt, Fallen Legion: Rise to Glory, GOD WARS The Complete Legend, Happy Birthdays, The Longest Five Minutes, The Lost Child, Penny-Punching Princess, Touhou Gensou Wanderer Reloaded and Yomawari: The Long Night Collection.
Next up in publisher sales is the Devolver Spring Sale! There’s a few more games, so I’ll only list the highlights. Keep in mind this sale goes til 4/21, so much longer than NISA. Here’s some of the Devolver games especially worth checking out – Ape Out, Gato Roboto, GRIS, Katana ZERO, The Messenger and My Friend Pedro. To see both all of the games included in both these sales, just click here.
