In theory, I love board games. They’re raucous, hectic and generally make for a good time, or a fist fight. And that’s without any thievery going on. Which brings us to Light Fingers. Previously released on Nintendo Switch, this crazy multiplayer party game (with cards) has you pilfer and provoke on a magical clockwork board. The only reason I haven’t already played the game for myself is cause I don’t always have my friends nearby, and this is the sort of game which would definitely benefit from close proximity to your cohorts as you play (and maybe a drink or two).
Well, if you find the premise of Light Fingers compelling but don’t already own a Nintendo Switch, you’ll soon be in luck. Numizmatic is bringing the party game to PC and Xbox One this Spring, but that’s not all. Once it arrives, it will do so with some new DLC called Mechanical Minds, which will add the following features to the game:
- AI opponents to the Board Campaign
- Game achievements
- A new model for the Marketplace tile
- Game polishing
If you already own Light Fingers on Switch, no worries, since that version will get the DLC added as well. I think the AI opponents addition should help make this a game anybody can enjoy. But if you’re a stickler and still aren’t convinced whether or not you need Light Fingers in your life, just check out the trailer below and then decide.
