During E3 2019, we learned quite a bit about Bandai Namco’s upcoming Dragon Ball Z RPG title. First and foremost, we learned that its final name would be changed to Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. We were also given a look at a brand new trailer featuring a fight between Goku and Freiza. Some of those in attendance at E3 were even given the chance to play a bit of the game themselves. Unfortunately a hard release date continues to elude us, but we do have some additional information from Bandai Namco today. The publisher has confirmed that Vegeta, Piccolo, and Gohan will be making appearances in the game. Perhaps these inclusions are to be expected, but a few other characters have also been thrown into the mix. Those include Goku’s friends Krillin, Tien, Chiaotzu, and Yamcha. You can look forward to playing alongside all of them when Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot releases on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC next year. Until then, have a look at some of our initial impressions from E3. Also, be sure to let us know in the comments if you plan on picking this one up in 2020.
