Fatal Frame 2 is coming out for the Wii. However, it is not just a straight port. The graphics are being updated, the wii is being fully utilized and there will be new endings.
Today in an interview with Nintendo president Satoru Iwata, some details and videos of the wii version were released. One of the major differences is that the camera angle has been changed from “fixed point” (much like the early Resident Evils and Final Fantasies) to third person. The twin heroines have also been redesigned. In fact, Mr. Kikuchi joked about how he was very interested in the shape of their lips. The other major update aside from graphics is the “interaction” feature which allows the main characters to interact with the enviroment… and the enviroment to interact with them.
The game will be released June 29th in Europe.
