Shantae is summoning her way to Nintendo Switch this summer with the announcement of Shantae: Half-Genie Hero. The successfully Kickstarted action-platformer was released both digitally and physically last year on the PS4, Wii U and PS Vita. WayForward will be publishing the game digitally on the Switch eShop, while the physical version will be handled by XSeed Games. Shantae got her start on the Game Boy Color and has since had adventures across several consoles, handhelds, mobile devices and PC. Half-Genie Hero is the first title made specifically for HD platforms.
