Although he had mentioned he was retiring from films, it seems that Hayao Miyazaki may be working on new movie. He announced that he would like to make another film. It seems that back in August he had submitted a proposal for a new feature film and that it would take a few years to complete. He says it could be done in 2019, before Tokyo is set to hold the Olympics. The film hasn’t been approved yet, but the director has already started work on it. Since he announced that he had retired Miyazaki has been working on a short called Boro the Catapillar for the Ghibli Museum.
