Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 – PS4 Digital, Retail

Expect the review for this game to be posted fairly soon, as Joe is tackling this one head on. I’m looking forward to what he has to say about it, the first Xenoverse was my favorite Dragon Ball game of all time.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition – PS4 Digital, Retail (Out 10/28)

Some day, in that far off future, I might have enough time to give this game another go. The prettier graphics would sure be nice, and I did spend well over 300 hours with the original version of this game. But, even though it’s my favorite of the Elder Scrolls series, after the mastery of The Witcher 3 I’m not sure I can go back to this game without expecting more.

Exile’s End – PS4, PS Vita Digital

This latest sci-fi metroidvania styled indie game looks like it may be one to keep an eye on. It doesn’t jump off the screen quite the way Axiom Verge did, but the gameplay is definitely more important to nail.

Ginger: Beyond the Crystal – PS4 Digital

This one looks like it can go either way. There have been several indie attempts to capture that 3D platforming magic that Nintendo and Rare were so famous for, very few of them have come any where close. But this certainly looks good so far, and very cute.

Kyurinaga’s Revenge – PS4 Digital

Apparently the vegitable samurai warrior audience has been long since been struggling in the desert of the forgotten. Now they are getting their chance to shine with this new 2D action platformer game.

Weeping Doll – PS VR Digital (Out 10/27)

For those of you who want to kick off your Halloween celebrations with you brand new PS VR, look no farther than this game. It could be quite an intense experience to play clausterphobic horror games with that new perephrial.

World of Final Fantasy – PS4, PS Vita Digital, Retail

This is definitely the heavy hitter release for this week (well for our audience, which is typically not into Titanfall type games). There are a lot of people who were anticipating this trip down nostalgia lane more than the release of Final Fantasy XV. Check out the review from Chris over here, he was rather fond.

Yomawari: Night Alone – PS Vita Digital

And here we have another very timely release to celebrate the Halloween season. This one looks very cute and Japanese, but anyone who has seen enough of the horror movies out of that country knows that they have a lot of potential to scare.
