With the delay of Zelda Wii U and Star Fox Zero, which were originally set to release this holiday season, the Wii U lost two crucial year-closing titles. Despite several games still bound for the system before the end of the year, not the least of which being Xenoblade Chronicles X, it wasn’t looking good in terms of system-selling software. That may change if this Meijer Black Friday ad is true. The ad shows off a brand new bundle for Nintendo’s system, which comes with two of Wii U’s best games, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Splatoon.
The cleverly dubbed “Smash Splat Deluxe Set” will run at the standard price of $299, but the Black Friday deal will come at a price of $249. If this bundle is the real deal, it’s sure to give a little incentive to pick up Nintendo’s home console.
