Splatoon fans who are really into the game’s music are in luck, as Nintendo is releasing a new sound track for their hit game, entitled Splatune. It includes some of the latest tunes from the game, with a total of 61 tracks across the two disc set. Among them are ink sound effects, the “Come on!” and “Booyah!” shouts, and the main theme, Splattack. Splatune will also come with a small booklet that contains four reversible covers (plus one original). The Splatoon sound track is being published by Kadokawa Shoten, and will launch in Japan on October 21st. It will have a suggested price of 3,200 Yen (or about $27). Unfortunately, there is no word yet on whether the Splatune sound track will be released to Splatoon fans in the West.
As mentioned above, the Splatune sound track comes with a small booklet that has several reversible covers. As you can see below, they are rather colorful and vibrant. I personally like the original (the first one) the best as it seems to reflect the game much more than the others. Much of the text is in Japanese, as these images are obviously from the Japanese version of the sound track. As mentioned, it is not even known yet whether Splatune will make its way to fans in the West or not. So if you’re a Splatoon fan who’d really like to have this sound track, you’d better keep your fingers crossed!
