I know it’s a little early for me to be fanboying out, but the game industry keeps finding ways to raise my hype meter lately. Case in point, Project X Zone 2: Brave New World has announced some new faces to add their unique style to the upcoming sequel. First off we are getting Phoenix and Maya from the Phoenix Wright series, which is sure to excite many Capcom fans. On the Sega side of things, we are getting Axel Stone from Streets of Rage to smash some faces. Finally, from Namco Bandai we are getting representation from both God Eater 2 and Summon Night 3, with characters such as Nana Kazuki and Ciel Alencon from the former and Aty from the latter.
As far as returning characters, it should come as little surprise that Ryu and Ken from Street Fighter reprise their roles, as well as Gemini Sunrise and Sakura Shinguji from Sakura Wars, both of whom delighted me in the original Project X Zone. Overall I am getting very excited for this sequel, and look forward to a solid release date this Fall! If you are especially excited about some of the new blood, let us know below!
