Are you waiting for news about a localization for the 3DS remake of ATLUS’ Sega Saturn RPG, Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers? Well so are we. Fortunately, ATLUS has released a batch of new screenshots, along with some new info about the remake’s various additions to whet our appetites.
These additions include the ability to switch between the original and the new opening animation, the ability to turn the game’s voice acting on and off, and improved loading times, frame rate, and response time. In addition, the remake allows you to “hack” your “GUMP” (A gun-shaped computer) as a means to change various game settings such as difficulty.
Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers will also include the first look at Shin Megami Tensei IV in the form of a 3D trailer.

Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers will release on August 30th in Japan. If I were Japanese, that would make it a nice birthday present for me. Sadly, I am not, so I, along with most of the rest of the world, will have to wait and hope for a localization announcement.
