The Kickstarter campaign for River City Ransom: Underground, the North American follow-up to the NES classic beat ‘em up RPG River City Ransom, has finished its Kickstarter campaign with $217,643 CAD. Conatus Creative has surpassed its initial goal of $180,000 and even smashed the first stretch goal to bring the game to Mac and Linux, along with the initial Windows version. Those who pledged for physical or digital copies of the game, you can choose between either version to accept.
While the Kickstarter is done, funding is still on going. As expected, a PayPal option has been opened for the project. Those who wish to donate towards River City Ransom: Underground—or those that wanted to but couldn’t because your bank or credit card wouldn’t do the exchange—can still do so and still receive non-Kickstarter exclusive rewards up to $125.
So far, Conatus Creative has raised at least $3,000 in the short time PayPal has been opened. All money collected as this time will still go towards the stretch goals. Here’s a quick reminder of what stretch goals remain:
- $280,000: PS4 and PS Vita
- $320,000: Wii U and 3DS
- $360,000: Xbox One
- $390,000: PS3
PayPal donations will be collected until November 9th.
