At Anime Expo 2026 during the “TRIGGER PANEL,” animation studio TRIGGER announced the fourth project by director/screenwriter duo Hiroyuki Imaishi and Kazuki Nakashima is now underway. The duo previously worked on Gurren Lagann in 2007, Kill la Kill in 2013, and Promare in 2019. While no other details are available at this time, this is exciting news for those that are fans of the duo’s previous works.
Studio TRIGGER was founded in 2011. Since then, they have worked on numerous anime such as Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, SSSS.GRIDMAN, Little Witch Academia, and Delicious in Dungeon.
