In a special announcement stream hosted by Noire voice actress, Asami Imai, Compile Heart announced Neptunia Unlimited. Unlimited is the first new mainline Neptunia game in 11 years. The last mainline title was Megadimension Neptunia VII which released in Japan in 2015 for PlayStation 4.

Neptunia Unlimited takes place in Gamindustri where four nations are governed by their respective CPU/Goddesses. The four nations are Planeptune, Sweenia, Lastation, and Leanbox. Lowee’s name was changed to Sweenia, though the old capital’s name is still Lowee. You can check out images of Gamindustri and the four nations below.
Series protagonist, Neptune, returns and is joined by four new CPU/Guardian Goddesses as well as some familiar faces. You can check out the announced characters and cast below.

Neptunia 15th Anniversary Song “無敵の絆 -Re:boot & Update-“
Neptunia Unlimited is scheduled to launch on August 27, 2026 in Japan for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2. The game will be available physically and digitally, but the PS4 version will be digital only.
