Earlier today, Idea Factory International officially announced 9 R.I.P. sequel, which they’ve been teasing recently on their social media. Currently no official release date has been announced yet for 9 R.I.P. sequel, but it has been confirmed to be releasing for Nintendo Switch in the West later this year, 2026. The press release states that the sequel will contain 9 full routes which include direct continuations to the original game’s Heavenly and Godly endings. Also, the sequel will introduce new sub characters and unlockable bonus content as well.
One last thing IFI mentions in the press release, is the fact that 9 R.I.P. sequel will be getting the usual Limited Edition sold exclusively in IFI’s Online Store. They haven’t announced yet though, what will be included with the Limited Edition.
