Little Problems: A Cozy Detective Game

Indonesian developer Posh Cat Studio are giving the everyday and mundane a new look when they release their debut title Little Problems: A Cozy Detective Game. Players will work through simple, everyday problems, inconveniences, and misunderstandings Mary faces as a university freshman that require problem-solving, minor sleuthing, and resolution.

Originally planned as a murder-mystery, the female-led team pivoted the scope of their game after realizing that immersing themselves in crime and horror content for years could be harmful to their mental health. Despite being fans of Lovecraft and horror, “We turned to cozy games and cute pictures to escape the blood and gore,” says lead developer and Posh Cat Studio founder Melisa. “Little Problems was born out of a love for wholesome, safe and approachable content but still with a passion for investigation and detection.”

Little Problems invites players to delve into a world where detective work is about connecting with friends, understanding the small yet significant issues of daily life, and finding joy in the simplicity of resolution.

“It’s not about saving the world, it’s about enriching it, one little problem at a time,” Melisa adds.

Little Problems: A Cozy Detective Game launches on Steam Sep 9, 2025.
