XSEED Games has announced that they’ll be publishing The Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy- on Nintendo Switch in North America. The press release states that XSEED will launch the game for Switch at the same time Aniplex launches the PC version they’re publishing. This scheduled launch date is April 24th, 2025. The press release also mentions that XSEED has confirmed the game will get a physical copy. A Standard Edition will be available for $59.99 and there will be a Limited Edition available as well for $99.99. The Limited Edition (pictured above) will include an art book with work from Rui Komatsuzaki and Shimadoriru, a soundtrack CD with 10 songs, an acrylic diorama containing the main cast, a metal Last Defense Academy pin, a lenticular art card, a copy of an original The Hundred Line short novel and finally 15 character art cards. XSEED mentions that pre-orders will be available soon via the Marvelous USA Online Store as well as participating retailers. Aniplex will be the publisher of the European Switch copy as well and they’re only doing a digital release, so it seems physical copies may only be available in North America.
