Kai no Kiseki | Van Awakening

A new video giving information and showcasing the battle system for The Legend of Heroes: Kai no Kiseki -Farewell, O Zemuria- has been released via Dengeki Online’s YouTube channel. The battle system showcase includes looks at updated Craft animations, and the video shows a comparison between the animation in Kuro no Kiseki and the update animation in Kai no Kiseki. In addition to the updated Crafts, the new Awakening and B.L.T.Z. mechanics were shown.

Certain characters can utilize Awakening by consuming  the Trance gauge during Field Battles. By doing this, the character can temporarily increase their combat abilities. With the B.L.T.Z system during Command Battles, if a character performs a normal attack, Craft, or art while having the AT bonus “Blitz” a BLTZ Chain or BLTZ Support will activate. This can help turn the tide of battle with benefits such as increasing the effectiveness of Crafts and arts. (Information taken from Kai no Kiseki‘s official website. Trance gauge name taken from name next to depleting gauge in Field Battle Awakening showcase.)
