Bandai Namco has announced that SWORD ART ONLINE Last Recollection official ambassador and hololive 2nd Generation talent, Minato Aqua, will join Last Recollection as a playable character on March 7th, 2024. She will be available in the free 1.15 version update after clearing the required sub-quest. Based on the images provided, it appears she may be able to dual wield like Kirito, and has her own bed talk event and CG.
Minato Aqua was appointed the game’s official ambassador in July 2023 and is a huge fan of the Sword Art Online series. She debuted for hololive’s 2nd Generation in August 2018 and has amassed a YouTube subscriber count of over 1.9 million. She also has 1.6 million followers on her X account.
SWORD ART ONLINE Last Recollection launched October 6, 2023 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. It continues Kirito and the crew’s adventures in Underworld. For more information, you can head to its official website.
