Mahoutsukai no Yoru | Alice Kuonji

A new promotional video (PV) has been released for ufotable’s upcoming anime film adaptation of TYPE-MOON’s visual novel, Mahoutsukai no Yoru (Witch on the Holy Night). You can check out the PV below.

 

Mahoutsukai no Yoru is a 2012 Windows PC visual novel by TYPE-MOON. It was first written in 1996 and the laid the groundwork for future titles such as Tsukihime and Fate/stay night. The visual novel later received a fully voiced voiced HD remaster and overseas release for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Steam.

A synopsis of the visual novel is as follows:

In the mansion on the hill, there lived two witches…

It is the late 1980s—the twilight of an era of beauty and vigor.
A boy moves to the city,
barely missing two witches living in modern times.

The boy leads a completely ordinary life.
She carries herself with a gallant pride.
The girl lives a sleepy, hidden life.

Each walks a starlit path.
One would never expect their paths to cross.
The story of these three disparate
people came together is soon to be told.
