During today’s Nintendo Direct, Nintendo announced Wave 5 of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass. They showed off one brand new track and announced a few new characters they’ll be adding to the game, Petey Piranha, Wiggler and Kamek. This latest wave of extra DLC content is scheduled to come out sometime this summer. A more specific release date is not yet available at this time. Anyone who already owns the Booster Course Pass DLC or who’s a current Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscriber, will be able to enjoy the extra content once it’s out, at no additional cost.
