While we here at Operation Rainfall love covering the latest in gaming news and sharing our reviews of titles new and classic, we also just enjoy playing games in our downtime. So with that, sit back, relax, and check out what the oprainfall gaming crew have been up to this week!
In between my semi-daily Dance Dance Revolution routine and working on a new review, I managed to fit a few games in this week. First up was the Capcom Fighting Collection. I don’t play many fighting games because I’m awful at them, but I have a massive soft spot for Morrigan so it was nice to throw down with her a bit, especially in Super Puzzle Fighter, which is still the best fighting game Capcom has ever released. (No, I do not accept criticism.) It’s just a comfy, nostalgic title for me. I’ve also been slowly working on platinum-ing Monark, which is a game I really loved and highly recommend, especially if you enjoy titles in the vein of Shin Megami Tensei. It’s super grindy, but I enjoy the battle system enough I can tolerate it. Also, the music absolutely slaps. – Leah
