The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated!

The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated! JahyTaking up from the battle last week, the Pub gets repaired with the help of everyone and Jahy gets a surprise. With the others still thinking she wants to leave and start her own business, a party gets thrown for her. This quickly is resolved when she leaves this to Druj, who of course does well with it. Jahy doesn’t get anything out of it, keeping the status quo. From there Jahy gets pulled into a festival that is being thrown with Kokoro in order to win a prize and beat out some boys who made fun of the two. In usual fashion, Jahy wins, but it’s not what she expected. To include everyone, Saurva comes in and eventually is persuaded by the Manager and Landlord to join the festival. She becomes no longer afraid of the Landlord and admires her the same as her sister. She gets so involved in it she forgets about going after Jahy until they meet once again. With everyone meeting up with Jahy, it finishes pretty nicely. It’s a bit sad that it’s the last episode, but an OVA or something to come after would be welcomed. There is still the manga though. – Walter

Mieruko-chan

Mieruko-chan Miko & a catThe apparent conflict with Zen comes to a head in this episode and we get to see more about his backstory. It is a bit dark as you would expect with what it’s been hinting at, but doesn’t go exactly as it was seemingly going to. Miko follows him and stops him as he goes for a cat on the street. As he catches up to her and questions her, such as her not letting him have a cat, the cat runs off and Zen then does something unexpected. Once the two have a talk, Miko realizes that things were not as they seemed and that he thought something was going on with her instead. He mentions she seemed suspicious and saying that she acts oddly, which if you were to not know what she goes through might make sense. After speaking with Zen’s friend and understanding more about him she tells him to adopt the cat and seemingly challenges the evil spirit that follows him. Doing so she leaves and has it come after her. The episode does a good job bringing this part of the story to a conclusion. It’ll be interesting to see how the next episode goes with what’s happened so far. – Walter
