Actraiser Renaissance

After 30 years, Actraiser returns with Actraiser Renaissance, a fully remastered version of the 2D action-platformer and city-building simulation game that includes some extra quality of life updates to please old fans and new ones alike.

As the Lord of Light, help guide humanity to prosperity by summoning lightning and triggering earthquakes to remove obstacles; build settlements in a vast new realm; and protect your people with your angel minion’s bow and arrow.

Actraiser Renaissance includes fully remastered HD characters, maps, monsters and battle backgrounds and effects, as well as newly designed city-building simulation segments, including a new region and developmental stages for cities. Players can harness fire, ice, and other magical elements in the 2D action stages, as well as dodge, attack, and slash in both upward and downward motions. The game includes a new real-time strategy “Settlement Siege” feature; a remastered original soundtrack with 15 new tracks; the ability to toggle between the remastered and original score by Yuzo Koshiro; and auto-save and difficulty settings features.

Actraiser Renaissance is available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Steam, and mobile immediately for $29.99 USD. Those who pre-ordered before Nov 1 through the Nintendo eShop, Nintendo website, or Steam will receive a wallpaper and mini-soundtrack. Those who pre-ordered via the PlayStation store will receive the mini-soundtrack and an original PS4 theme with background music.
