System Update #2:Battle
Using a turn-based battle system, fans can now control up to 5 Blood Maidens in battle! Attacking an enemy’s weak point will result in Overkills which splatter the enemy’s pink blood.

The more blood that splatters, the stronger the Blood Maidens become. When a Blood Maiden’s blood meter gauge fills, it can unlock their Massacre Mode or Blood Skelter Mode in battle! Use Blood Skelter Mode at your own risk, for with strength comes repercussions.

Kagome-Kagome Effect
When enemies splatter enough blood, they will spin around and face the other direction, activating Kagome-Kagome! The enemies are defenseless when turned around, meaning players can deal massive damage with their party and increase the amount of blood splattered by foes.
Critical Notice
When a character cuts in at the start of your turn, that means there’s a chance for a critical attack! Critical Notice attacks comes in tiers. The higher the level, the more your attacks and effects compound.

Critical will only apply to “Attack” options, meaning fans will have to decide between “Attack” or “Recovery” when the time calls for it.

Character Profiles:
Mary

A girl with no presence who was raised in the Liberated District and lived there at the same time as Jack and Alice. She spends most of her time in solitude. She lights special matches to summon phantoms from her imagination. She has cultivated self-reliance and a reserved optimism, preferring her own mind over the company of others. The only exception to this is Charlotte, her friend who named and acknowledged her when no one else did in the Liberated District. They have a charming, but peculiar, friendship.

After surviving Massacre Pink’s ambush, she travels alongside Alice and Charlotte to find the rest of their party.

Charlotte

A mysterious girl who lived with Mary in the Liberated District. For some reason, she seems intimately familiar with Jack and the Blood Maidens, aware of secrets only they would know.

Although she is aware of her identity as a Blood Maiden, she chose not to join the Dawn, opting instead to live in hiding with Mary. After the vicious Massacre Pink attack, she joins Mary and Alice on their quest to find their lost friends.

Alice

A calm, analytical young woman whose concern for her friends overshadows her seriousness. Having been friends with Jack since childhood, she feels especially close to him, often blushing or stammering at the mention of his name.

Following the ambush by Massacre Pink soon after her arrival on the surface, she encounters Mary and Charlotte, who join her on her quest to find Jack.

Steve started with oprainfall not long after the campaign moved from the IGN forums to Facebook. Ever since, he has been fighting to give all non-mainstream RPGs a fair voice. As the site admin, he will continue to do this and even show there is value in what some would deem "pure ecchi." He loves niche games and anime more than anything... well, except maybe Neptune.
