Featured Games

Pokémon UNITE (free to play) has launched on the Nintendo Switch. Dive into five-vs-five team battles and cooperate with your teammates. Defeat wild Pokémon, train them, and evolve them. Grow your score while doing all you can to stop your opponents from gaining points of their own. Will your team emerge victorious?

Last Stop ($24.99) has also just launched on the Switch. As a supernatural crisis unfolds, explore three intertwined stories. The worlds of three playable characters (Donna, John, and Meena) collide in present-day London.

The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles ($39.99) double pack arrives on July 27th. Uncover the truth in 19th century Japan and England, across five episodes in each game. It’s up to Pheonix Wright’s ancestor, Ryunosuke Naruhodo, to shed light on an international conspiracy.

Also launching on July 27th is NEO: The World Ends with You ($59.99). Rindo, leader of The Twisters, finds himself forced to compete in the “Reapers’ Game”. It is then that he realizes his life is in danger. Will your psychic powers be enough to help you survive?

SAMURAI WARRIORS 5 ($59.99) will bring the fight to Nintendo Switch on July 27, as well. The game takes place in a span between the end of the Ōnin War and the Incident at Honnōji. The story centers around the lives of officers Nobunaga Oda and Mitsuhide Akechi.

Nintendo Switch Online

Nintendo has added three new SNES games to the Nintendo Switch Online service this week:

  • Claymates – Take on the role of Clayton, son of Professor Putty. Your father has made a breakthrough, and with the serum he’s created, living creatures can be turned into clay! You will face many dangers, but you have the ability to transform into five different animals. You’ll need them all to run, jump, fly, swim and climb your way past the obstacles in your path! Claymates will be available on July 28.

  • Jelly Boy – In this platforming game originally released exclusively in Europe in 1995, you are Jelly Boy, candy given the spark of life by the power of lightning. You’ve come to life knowing one thing: You have to escape the candy factory. To get out, you’ll need to collect puzzle pieces and survive the enemy heavies trying to stop you. You’re sure to need all your wits, skills and shape-changing powers to make it through this wacky adventure. Jelly Boy will be available on July 28.

  • Bombuzal – Strategically detonate every bomb in each level while leaving yourself a safe place to stand when the dust settles. In this puzzle game, you’ll have to be quick, because time is short. Just make sure you remember to take the size of each explosion into account, or it could blow a hole in all your careful planning. Good luck, and have a blast! Bombuzal will be available on July 28.

Michael Fontanini
Michael is a veteran gamer in his late 30s, who grew up around video games, with fond memories of the oldies like the NES, SNES, and N64 among others. He loves Nintendo, but also plays a lot of games on his PC. Michael also enjoys going for walks/bike rides, loves animals, and enjoys thunderstorms (and science in general). I love Nintendo but I also play a lot of game's on PC, many of which are on steam. My favorite Nintendo game's include Zelda, Metroid, and Smash Bros to name a few. On PC I love the Half-Life games, as well as most all of the Source Engine games just to name a few.
