The first Nintendo Download of June 2021 is here, and Nintendo of America has quite a few new eShop games this week. By comparison, the featured section is rather quiet.

Featured Games

Mystic Pillars: A Story-Based Puzzle Game ($6.99) is available now. This game is a “re-imagination” of Ali Guli Mane (aka Mancala), a traditional Indian board game. Experience a blend of immersive storytelling and puzzle solving. As this puzzle game’s story unravels, you will travel through mystical worlds in ancient India. There are 100 hand-crafted math puzzles with artwork and cut scenes that are quite stylized.

DC Super Hero Girls: Teen Power ($59.99) is just hours from launch at the time of this writing. This one is based on the DC Super Hero Girls animated series. Use your stunning combos to bring justice. There are six playable heroes and villains with a bunch of different abilities.

Current Sales

The sales scene this week is on the quieter side as well. A couple items we’ve covered last week and earlier are still running. The Team 17 Sale is going until June 16th, and the $10 off when you purchase both Famicom Detective Club games offer is also still active.

Check out Nintendo’s sales page for full details on everything.

Upcoming Games

We have a small collection of upcoming eShop titles to visit this week in the Nintendo Download again.

Launching on June 5th, we have a handful of varied games:

On June 8th, we have a pair of games arriving to the Nintendo Switch eShop. They are the block filling puzzle game Bring Honey Home ($7.99), and tricky platformer puzzler Red Ball Escape ($2.99).

Finally, we round out this week’s upcoming section with exploration “Chillectathon”, Alba: A Wildlife Adventure ($19.99).

That wraps things up for the first Nintendo Download of June 2021. Take care out there!

Michael Fontanini
Michael is a veteran gamer in his late 30s, who grew up around video games, with fond memories of the oldies like the NES, SNES, and N64 among others. He loves Nintendo, but also plays a lot of games on his PC. Michael also enjoys going for walks/bike rides, loves animals, and enjoys thunderstorms (and science in general). I love Nintendo but I also play a lot of game's on PC, many of which are on steam. My favorite Nintendo game's include Zelda, Metroid, and Smash Bros to name a few. On PC I love the Half-Life games, as well as most all of the Source Engine games just to name a few.
