The last Nintendo Download of May 2021 is here, and that also means E3 is getting dangerously close. We have a sparse featured section this week. However, Cris Tales and Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny both have free demos available for download now. NINJA GAIDEN: Master Collection is also now available for pre-order.

World’s End Club ($39.99) is almost here, launching tomorrow (Friday, May 28th). A group of misfit kids from various parts of Japan are known as the “Go-Getters Club”. They find themselves trapped in a mysterious theme park after a class trip goes very wrong! Caught in a “Game of Fate”, they must unravel the mystery of the park and what’s going on. Their friendships will be stretched to the limit. Can they get to the bottom of things before it’s too late?

 

 

Current Sales


This Nintendo Download sees a quieter sales scene, but there are still a few major new things to cover. A couple of sales we covered last week are still ongoing, including the the Ori and the Will of the Wisps 50% off sale (ending May 29th), the Kombat the Summer Sale from Warner Bros. Games (ending June 1st), and the $10 off when you purchase both Famicom Detective Club games offer.

New this week is the Sale of the High Seas 50% off sale, running until May 31st at 11:59pm PT.

There is also the Capcom Hits Sale, lasting until June 1st at 11:59pm PT. This one features four games:

Finally, we also have the new Team 17 Sale, lasting through June 16th at 11:59pm PT. This one has 26 titles up to 90% off. Here are a few highlights:

Upcoming Games


The upcoming section of this Nintendo Download has a handful of new games.

A trio of games are debuting on the Switch eShop on May 29th. Among them are retro platform adventure Off and On Again ($11.20 | $14.00), puzzle adventure Stray Cat Doors2 ($16.00), and can-toppling arcade game Strike Daz Cans ($2.99).

Action adventure DreamWorks Spirit Lucky’s Big Adventure ($39.99) will be launching on the first of June.

Finally, June 2nd will see the launches of challenging 2D platformer, Dungeon Escape ($4.99), and Sludge Life ($12.74 | $14.99).
