Nintendo Download for 4/15/2021

This week’s Nintendo Download includes a varied collection of six featured games. I believe that’s the most we’ve had so far this year. There are also a few new sales to talk about today.

Featured Games

Our first featured title of this Nintendo Download is FEZ ($13.49 | $14.99).  You are Gomez, a 2D creature seemingly living in a 3D world. Use your ability to traverse 3D structures from 4 classic 2D perspectives as you journey toward the edges of space and time.

Jump into the 3D boss rush bullet hell that is Godstrike ($11.99 | $14.99). This adventure is also time-based, meaning you have to take on each boss and win before the timer runs out. Unlock 40+ abilities by defeating said monsters, and use them to customize your loud outs.

We also have SaGa Frontier Remastered ($24.99), a beloved classic RPG from the 1990’s era. This release adds new features and even a new main character! Take on the adventure with one of eight heroes, each of whom has their own goals and story. The Free Scenario system helps ensure that your adventure will truly be your own.

Also already available is The Darkside Detective: A Fumble in the Dark ($11.69 | $12.99). Detective McQueen is about to be challenged by six chilling cases! Can you solve the macabre mysteries that are plaguing this pixel art town and restore peace?

Next up is The Longing ($14.99). Somewhere in an underground kingdom, you are the sole remaining servant of a king who’s powers have faded. He has since fallen asleep for 400 years, and you are a lonely shade who must stay in this place and await the day he reawakens. Pass the time by collecting items in the caves to decorate your living room, or read some classic literature. Keeping your mind busy is a great way to pass time!

Also available now is There Is No Game: Wrong Dimension ($12.99). Jump into a point-and-click comedy loaded with puzzles, riddles, and surprises.

Current Sales

The sales scene in the Nintendo Download this time around has several new ones again. However, the 11 bit Studios Sale, and the Bandai Namco Spring Sunrise Sale we covered last week are both still going on for a while longer. This is also true of a few others we covered in the last few weeks.

These next couple sections of the Nintendo Download are a bit shorter than usual this time around. First we have a few adventure games:

Hit the ground running (hopefully) in this “genre-twisting” hardcore runner involving resource management and interacting with your environment. Keep your tribe alive and food in good supply. This one is a “2D² puzzle platformer” that challenges you to solve multidimensional puzzles. It mixes run & jump gameplay with logical thinking puzzles, where each world is made up of two parallel worlds. You can interact only with the visible parts of each world. Developer: NeoBird
