Synergia is a cyberpunk visual novel that is bringing a dystopian love story to the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch later next week on March 18th. It is also coming to PS Vita according to the EastAsiaSoft website. Synergia previously launched on Steam in July of 2020.

Prepare for a thrilling adventure through a neon cityscape, but watch your back! Your new love is a crime, and your choices will determine your future (and perhaps yield much wider consequences)!

Take on the role of veteran police officer, Cila. All hope of a better life seems lost and no doubt adds to her short temper. However, things soon begin to unexpectedly change when her housedroid breaks down. A replacement is delivered by a shady friend as a favor, the much more advanced and perceptive unit known as M.A.R.A. Soon the android begins to break through Cila’s defenses, and they begin to bond emotionally.

Unfortunately, it’s not long before new threats emerge, as powerful corporation, Velta Labs, takes a mysterious interest in the M.A.R.A. unit. They soon find themselves in the midst of an emerging conflict, the main players of which are are being chosen in secret. The events that play out now will have huge implications on the future. The fate of the android M.A.R.A. could change the course of history forever! It could mean peace, a new religion, war, or a technological singularity with massive consequences!

Along the way, Cila and her new friend will cross paths with over 20 characters in an adventure spanning “about 100 combinations of scenes and CGs”, according to the press release.

Michael Fontanini
Michael is a veteran gamer in his late 30s, who grew up around video games, with fond memories of the oldies like the NES, SNES, and N64 among others. He loves Nintendo, but also plays a lot of games on his PC. Michael also enjoys going for walks/bike rides, loves animals, and enjoys thunderstorms (and science in general). I love Nintendo but I also play a lot of game's on PC, many of which are on steam. My favorite Nintendo game's include Zelda, Metroid, and Smash Bros to name a few. On PC I love the Half-Life games, as well as most all of the Source Engine games just to name a few.
