Golden Force puts you in control of one of four mercenaries: Gutz, Spina, Drago, and Elder. Take on old “school difficulty (but not as frustrating)” as you battle your way through four challenging worlds loaded with secrets! There is also a 2-player co-op mode so you can team up with a buddy against formidable bosses. Utilize complex combos, swim and attack while underwater, and swipe collectibles and throwable items that can help you. Try your best to beat each level with the best time, best combo count, and as many coins as you can collect! Along the way, you’ll unlock new areas with goofy names like “Nacho Island”, which is ruled by the Salsa General! Whatever you do, don’t harm the kittens you’ll find running around, you monster! The game doesn’t actually penalize you if you do, though.

Stay tuned for our upcoming review of this game. In the meantime, here is the Golden Force trailer for Nintendo Switch:

Michael Fontanini
Michael is a veteran gamer in his late 30s, who grew up around video games, with fond memories of the oldies like the NES, SNES, and N64 among others. He loves Nintendo, but also plays a lot of games on his PC. Michael also enjoys going for walks/bike rides, loves animals, and enjoys thunderstorms (and science in general). I love Nintendo but I also play a lot of game's on PC, many of which are on steam. My favorite Nintendo game's include Zelda, Metroid, and Smash Bros to name a few. On PC I love the Half-Life games, as well as most all of the Source Engine games just to name a few.
