Independent developer -IZMA- and retro developer/publisher Spacebot Interactive have announced that Deadeus pre-orders are now live for physical copies of the game. The top-down 8-bit horror adventure was developed using Chris Maltby’s GB Studio engine, with music by Stuart Busby. You can pre-order the game as an original Gameboy cartridge in an original box from https://www.spacebot-interactive.com. It can be played on any Gameboy, thanks to the backwards compatibility of the Gameboy Color and Gameboy Advance. The standard edition is priced at $57.44 (£42 / €46.72), plus postage.

Deadeus is a top-down, retro horror adventure for the Gameboy family of systems. The story follows a young boy who experiences a terrible nightmare one night. It tells him that everyone around him will die in 3 days if nothing is done! He soon finds himself investigating his village to learn more and hopefully find a way to save everyone. Is it even possible? You’ll have to find out in the game! There are 11 different endings, and no direct paths. This means you must create your own path by deciding what you think the best course of action is at each step of the way. Here are some screenshots of Deadeus in action:

Michael Fontanini
Michael is a veteran gamer in his late 30s, who grew up around video games, with fond memories of the oldies like the NES, SNES, and N64 among others. He loves Nintendo, but also plays a lot of games on his PC. Michael also enjoys going for walks/bike rides, loves animals, and enjoys thunderstorms (and science in general). I love Nintendo but I also play a lot of game's on PC, many of which are on steam. My favorite Nintendo game's include Zelda, Metroid, and Smash Bros to name a few. On PC I love the Half-Life games, as well as most all of the Source Engine games just to name a few.
