Welcome back to the final Nintendo Download for the crazy year that was 2020. As you may have guessed, this one is a shorter one for sure. We have no featured games to talk about this week, but some of the big sales we covered last week are still going on for a bit longer.
Current Sales
In the sales scene this week, there isn’t really anything new to cover in the Nintendo Download, as many of the big sales we looked at last week are still going. However, time is running out since many of them are ending tonight, or in the coming days. Here is a list of the sales that are still running, ordered by how soon they end:

Bandai Namco Winter Meltdown Sale | Dec. 31st at 11:59pm PT |
Ubisoft Holiday Sale | Dec. 31st at 11:59pm PT |

As always, you can also find random small deals scattered around throughout the Nintendo Switch eShop.
New eShop Titles
The Nintendo Download has a varied group of new games this week. We’ll start off with something a little different this time.
FUZE Player | Price: $0.99 |
Size: 111.00 MB |
Launch Date: Dec. 28, 2020 |
This super cheap app lets you play custom games made by owners of the full Fuze4 Nintendo Switch app. The new Fuze Player app is for those who are not interested in making games themselves, but who want to play those made by others. The developers wanted to create a cheap way for them to do so rather than force them to pay full price or do without.
Those who get the full app instead can learn to program and create both 2D & 3D games with relative ease. I can say from experience that it is more user friendly and comes with more built-in assets than its competitor, Smile Basic 4. If the idea of writing programs and games on your Switch sounds cool, then you should check out both the full Fuze app and its competitor to decide which is best for you. Note that you’ll probably want to have a USB keyboard handy to plug into your Switch dock rather than use the onscreen keyboard when writing your game code. Developer: FUZE Technologies |
