In Coffee Noir you assume the role of Arthur Oliver, a hardboiled detective in Neo-London who goes undercover running a coffee shop in order to solve a mystery surrounding a crime committed against one of the biggest names in coffee. The game attempts to combine a murder mystery visual novel with a business simulator offering both robust simulation mechanics and economy with a compelling mystery, and a comic book style aesthetic.

In an alternative future, the world of 2021 is ruled by coffee and Neo-London goes crazy for it. Recently a mysterious crime has happened to one of the city’s main coffee businessmen.
