It’s the time where crowdfunding is at its peak, today we have Student Union! This intricate piece of dark romance comes from the small team Visual Novel Village and they’re aiming high. How high, you may ask? To clarify, if they reach their goal of $32,000, we’re talking about a full length English visual novel of over 40 hours in length. The task at hand is daunting, but a very promising demo is available to ease the worries of potential backers while enticing curious onlookers. If you like what you see, you can grab an early bird copy of the game for a mere $15. Want more goodies? They have physical copies, art books, a full-length original soundtrack, posters, t-shirts and so much more! Furthermore, they’re even going as far as to plan all the way up to $80,000 in stretch goals! You can feel the confidence! Help them out!

So what is Student Union anyways?

Student Union is a choice-driven, full-length visual novel that blends anime styling with western writing— downloadable for Windows, Mac, Linux, and (soon!) Android. Set in modern times, this story contains suspense, romance, and mystery. Your choices guide Lane Fox through major branching paths as shifting pressures form, strain, and shatter strong bonds. You’ll found a student government, recruit members, and struggle to maintain them in the face of unexpected challenges and danger.

Lane is in trouble and needs work, ASAP. At the kick-off of his final year of high school, he turns to asking the faculty for help. The assistant principal Mr. Underwood recommends a unique solution: form and lead a student organization dedicated to the support and maintenance of the institution. However, Lane must convince at least four other students to join the group before the end of the week.

Beneath this pretext he quickly learns the school administration is more sinister than it seems, that great danger lies within the school walls, and that the group he’s forming may be more necessary than he realized.
