Today Bandai Namco announced the next installment in The Dark Pictures Anthology with The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope.

The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope takes place in the small town of Little Hope where four college students and there professor find them selves stuck there and surrounded by an oppressive fog that won’t let them escape. Now they must find a way out while combating the towns dark history and the evil that still lurks there.

 

 

The Dark Pictures Anthology is an ongoing series narrative driven horror games with an emphasis on players choices by Supermassive Games. The previous installment, Men of Medan, was released in back in August of 2019. Little Hope will include single player and multiplayer in the form of a two player “shared story” and up to four player “movie night mode”.

The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope launches on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam October 30th, just in time for Halloween. Checkout the press release below for more information:

Little Hope, the brand-new game in The Dark Pictures Anthology series, will release on October 30th. Experience moments of tension and terror on your own in single player mode, or with a friend through two player online shared story or with up to five players in the couch-friendly movie night mode.

Trapped by a mysterious fog in the abandoned town of Little Hope, four college students and their professor search desperately for a means of escape whilst visions from the town’s gruesome and sinister past haunt them from the shadows. In order to stay alive, they must uncover the mysteries behind these dark apparitions before evil forces drag each of their souls to hell!

The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope will be available with a special pre-order bonus enabling players to gain early access to The Curator’s Cut which features new scenes in addition to the theatrical cut, different playable characters with more choices and outcomes to discover.
