Sword Art Alicization Lycoris

The newest Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris trailer shows off the upcoming RPG’s real-time combat system, including how to take down powerful Underworld foes. You can check out the entire trailer above.

In addition to offering skillful solo swordplay peppered with timing-based parries, guards and deflections, SWORD ART ONLINE Alicization Lycoris gives players the ability to join forces with their party—consisting of up to 4 players and 4 AI partners—to execute devastating group attacks. SWORD ART ONLINE Alicization Lycoris boasts a deep skill tree, an arsenal of weapons and consumable items, and powerful Sacred Arts that range in specialization from offensive magic, to defensive magic, to healing magic.

The game will also feature several fan-favorites, including Sinon, Leafa, Silica, and Lisbeth.

  • Lycoris Flower – Lycoris is a species of flower found in the South of Japan which symbolizes passion, sad memories, reunion, and self-reliance. Experience these themes as you dive into the game’s storyline.
  • Faithful to the original work – Kirito has awoken in a mysterious yet somehow familiar virtual world where AIs behave like humans. In this world, Kirito meets a young man named Eugeo. They make a promise where their destinies will soon become entwined. To keep that promise and stay together, they must venture onwards.

Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris will launch on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam on July 10, 2020.
