The Warmth Between Us | Humor

Summer isn’t the only thing making things hot, we have The Warmth Between Us to thank. To clarify, this is from the collaborative effort of Connections and Kikai Digital. An unusual romance story with so much to love. It all starts with a relationship that can’t be described as friendship or even love. Instead, it’s the warmth, the companionship if you will, that keeps things gentle while conveying wit and consideration. The publisher states that part of the charm for the game lies in the character archetypes rarely seen among both English and Japanese VNs alike. The original game was actually in Chinese and released just last month to resounding praise. It’s something different and we can all appreciate that. A gentle story with exceedingly beautiful art work. Honestly, for $6.99, it’s worth trying out. For a game that was never meant to be translated, I’m certainly glad it’s here.

It is late December in Taipei.

The pavement glows like silver under the bone-chilling winter rain.
With the coming of the New Year, we met for the first time.

Our beginning was nothing special. It was ordinary, yet, so unaccounted for.
However, I couldn’t help but let myself drown in this warm but distant vibe.

Her shadow, her every move and sensation piques my curiosity.
The warmth between us has a certain comfort that I’ve never felt before…
