Physicality Games, along with publishers Digerati and Mastiff, announced that Slayaway Camp: Butcher’s Cut is getting a physical edition. The isometric puzzle game was developed by Blue Wizard Digital. The new physical edition is coming exclusively through Physicality Games, and will be available for both Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. The Physicality Games website will be going live sometime later this month, at which time fans can start pre-ordering the physical edition for either platform.

There will be both Standard and Deluxe Editions. Standard edition gets you a physical copy of the game in a collector’s tin with a clear display window. The Deluxe Edition includes that, and the following additional items:

  • Slayaway Camp: Butcher’s Cut-themed SteelBook®
  • A Skullface embroidered iron-on patch
  • A massive 24×36″ camp flag
  • And a Skullface audio keychain

The extra items in the Deluxe Edition all come housed inside a Slayaway Camp: Butcher’s Cut-themed Collector’s Tin with a clear display window.

If you get the PlaySation 4 version, you’ll get the same items.

According to the press release, Slayaway Camp: Butcher’s Cut contains over 300 voxel-style levels to slay a path through. There are over 60 killers and more than 90 Gorepacks with over-the-top kill scenes. The game stars Mark Meer (Cdr. Shepard from Mass Effect) as Skullface as well as Derek Mears (Jason from Friday the 13th) as Jessica.

Until the Physicality Games website launches, you can stay informed about this physical edition by subscribing to their newsletter at newsletter.physicalitygames.com. Then you’ll know when the site goes up so you can pre-order it. Finally, here are some screenshots of the game in action, which happen to be from the Nintendo Switch version:

Michael is a veteran gamer in his late 30s, who grew up around video games, with fond memories of the oldies like the NES, SNES, and N64 among others. He loves Nintendo, but also plays a lot of games on his PC. Michael also enjoys going for walks/bike rides, loves animals, and enjoys thunderstorms (and science in general). I love Nintendo but I also play a lot of game's on PC, many of which are on steam. My favorite Nintendo game's include Zelda, Metroid, and Smash Bros to name a few. On PC I love the Half-Life games, as well as most all of the Source Engine games just to name a few.
