It’s been announced that the upcoming season of Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- will be delayed until July. The second season of the anime was originally going to premiere in April, has been pushed back due to the spread of the coronavirus which has affected its production schedule. In addition to that it was also mentioned that the releases of the anime’s opening and ending themes are also being pushed back toward the end of August.
Currently, an edited version of the first season with some new scenes is being aired. This would have led up to the original premiere date of the second season.
What are your thoughts on the delay?
