It has been announced that Star Ocean: First Departure R will be launching on December 5. The remaster will include some new features such as having both English and Japanese voice overs. Additionally, you can also choose between the characters designs from the original game or some new ones from the illustrator of Star Ocean: The Last Hope, Katsumi Enami. There will also be the ability to increase movement speed and an adjusted battle difficulty. A new trailer for the game was also released.
Star Ocean: First Departure R will launch on PlayStation 4 and Switch on December 5.
