Koei Tecmo America and Omega Force are excited to announce Warriors Orochi 4 Ultimate for PC (Steam), Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4. It is the latest in the hack-and-slash series that pits you against countless foes. The game is set to arrive in February of 2020. It will be available as a standalone title for those new to the series. Those who already own the original game can get it as an upgrade pack for that title. Here is the teaser trailer:
This latest entry in the series includes fighters from Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors, as well as the gods of ancient history. They all seek to uncover why they now find themselves fighting together against onslaughts of hordes of enemies in this mysterious world. This latest title increases the cast of playable characters from a massive 170 warriors up to 177. Gaia, the Mother Earth goddess, is one of the new fighters. At the beginning of time, she created many lands and now works to unite the heroes in a bid to save the world.
That’s not all that has been added to the game, though. Warriors Orochi 4 Ultimate also adds brand new storylines, game modes, magical abilities, and Sacred Treasures. One new mode is Infinity Mode, which has multi-layered maps. The new storylines will allow you to answer various questions like these:
- Why did Zeus create an anti-Odin coalition?
- and what became of officers who were investigating enemy forces?
