As shown on Famitsu, Death end re;Quest has just been announced a sequel. Compile Heart is now developing Death end re;Quest 2 for the Playstation 4. It features a new heroine illustrated by Kei Nanemeda, with a plot constructed by Makoto Kedouin. Kei Nanemeda is known for works such as the Mugen Souls games, belonging in Idea Factory. Makoto Kedouin meanwhile has been one of the spearheads for the Corpse Party series. The scenario is to be written as to be enjoyed by newer players who did not play the first game. Other further details are not known as this time.
