For years fans have been asking for the Yakuza series to make it’s way to PC. Well, last year Sega finally gave PC users their first taste with Yakuza 0, followed by Yakuza Kiwami back in February. Sega is continuing the trend by releasing Yakuza Kiwami 2 early next month and, as announced in a press release today, it’s available right now for pre-order.

Yakuza Kiwami 2 originally released in the west back in August of last year on the PlayStation 4. It’s a modernized remake of the second game in the series, and I guess Sega aims to introduce newcomers to the story and world of Yakuza while also providing a modern gameplay experience. The original Yakuza 2 is over ten years old at this point.

Yakuza Kiwami 2 will launch on PC through Steam May 9th for $29.99 USD, and can be pre-ordered right now. Doing so will also give you free DLC, such as exclusive weapons and outfits, which will be paid DLC post launch for late adapters. Checkout the trailer below:
