Devolver Digital and No Code (Who brought us 2017’s Stories Untold) are working together again to bring a new game to PS4 owners in their sci-fi thriller titled Observation as announced in today’s State of Play.
Not many details are given on Observation. Just a well presented cinematic trailer that gives me pretty strong 2001: A Space Odyssey vibes. It seems to be about a woman trapped on a space station? There is some text that flashes between scenes that reads “You’re not on the station” and “You are the station” so perhaps you’ll be taking a more indirect control of the protagonist as the space stations AI or something.
Whatever it may be we don’t have too long to wait for it. Observation launches on PlayStation 4 May 21st.
