PixelJunk Monsters 2 has just gotten a brand new patch, bumping it up to version 1.04 on both the Nintendo Switch and the PlayStation 4. According to the press release, this patch has added four new languages, including French, German, Italian, and Spanish. The game already had English, Japanese, and Traditional Chinese. The new patch also improved the online multiplayer menus and added the ability to play another stage with the same team without needing to rematch. Loading times were also improved, and the weekly stage is now open every week from Tuesday to Sunday. The developers have also made the Ice, Mana, and Missile towers slightly more efficient, as well as adding a number of bug fixes.

PixelJunk Monsters 2 released on May 25th of 2018, and is currently available not just on the Switch and PlayStation 4, but also on the Steam store. You can also find out more at the official website. You can grab a copy of the game for the price of $14.99. PixelJunk Monsters 2 is a tower defense game, supporting 1 to 2 players in local multiplayer, and 1 to 4 players in online multiplayer mode. The game is rated ESRB 10+, PEGI 7, USK 6, and ACB G depending on your region.

The PixelJunk series started in 2007, with PixelJunk Racers, which was followed up with games in many genres like artsy platformers or hardcore side scrollers. As time went on, the series has grown in popularity around the world.

About Michael Fontanini

Michael is a veteran gamer in his late 30s, who grew up around video games, with fond memories of the oldies like the NES, SNES, and N64 among others. He loves Nintendo, but also plays a lot of games on his PC. Michael also enjoys going for walks/bike rides, loves animals, and enjoys thunderstorms (and science in general).

I love Nintendo but I also play a lot of game's on PC, many of which are on steam. My favorite Nintendo game's include Zelda, Metroid, and Smash Bros to name a few. On PC I love the Half-Life games, as well as most all of the Source Engine games just to name a few.
