Akupara Games is very excited to announce that Whispering Willows is coming to the Nintendo Switch gaming system later this month! The press release pegs it to land on the Switch on September 27th, 2018. Pre-orders are already available in the Nintendo Switch eShop for a price tag of $9.99.

Whispering Willows sees Elena Elkhorn set out to explore the haunted Willows mansion, in an attempt to find her missing father and learn more about herself along the way. She’ll also discover bits and pieces of the mansion’s dark history as well. Elena also holds a mysterious amulet, given to her by her father. It gives her the ability to astral project her spirit into the realm of the dead. Naturally, this means she can use it to communicate with the dead. She’ll need this special amulet to help lingering souls, overcome the mansion’s puzzles, and unveil the secrets of the Willows mansion itself. The game supports Switch HD rumble, allowing you to feel the presence of ghosts through Elena’s magic amulet. The 2D world of the Willows mansion is composed of beautiful, hand-drawn art, brought to life with the atmosphere of a haunting sound track. Chilling sound effects will accentuate each moment of your adventure through a twisted story of betrayal. The mansion is massive and full of perplexing secrets.

Michael is a veteran gamer in his late 30s, who grew up around video games, with fond memories of the oldies like the NES, SNES, and N64 among others. He loves Nintendo, but also plays a lot of games on his PC. Michael also enjoys going for walks/bike rides, loves animals, and enjoys thunderstorms (and science in general). I love Nintendo but I also play a lot of game's on PC, many of which are on steam. My favorite Nintendo game's include Zelda, Metroid, and Smash Bros to name a few. On PC I love the Half-Life games, as well as most all of the Source Engine games just to name a few.
